Mara shares details about the 2026 Quad Cities Walk to End Alzheimer’s and why the event means so much to local families. The walk will take place on September 26, 2026, at the Prescott Valley Civic Center.
The Quad Cities Walk serves Prescott Valley, Prescott, Chino Valley and Dewey-Humboldt. Registration is free, and participants can walk on their own or create a team with friends, family or coworkers. Mara also explains how the event brings hundreds of people together to support those affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Mara discusses the impact Alzheimer’s has on Arizona families and the caregivers who support loved ones with the disease. She also shares how her background in nonprofit volunteer work led her to a career focused on service, community and meaningful connections.
