Back Alley Wine Bar is bringing new energy to downtown Prescott under the ownership of Tom and Maverick. Located just behind Whiskey Row, the wine bar offers a relaxed atmosphere with a strong focus on community. The owners want the longtime hidden gem to become a place more residents and visitors can easily discover.
Guests can choose from more than 50 wines, build their own wine flights, and purchase bottles to take home. The bar also hosts wine tastings and encourages customers to share ideas about what they would like to see on the menu. For Tom and Maverick, creating a memorable experience is just as important as what is poured into the glass.
Live entertainment is also a major part of Back Alley Wine Bar. The venue features live music throughout most of the week, along with open mic events, a Women in Music event and Wednesday trivia. On Fridays and Saturdays, Back Alley Wine Bar After Dark keeps the atmosphere going later into the evening.
Above all, Tom and Maverick want the bar to feel personal and welcoming. They describe it as a “Western Cheers,” where guests are greeted with a handshake and often remembered by name.
