Prescott Valley PD to Host Badges and Bobbers 

Annual Badges and Bobbers fishing event on April 20th from 8 am to noon at Fain Park in Prescott Valley. Enjoy meeting and fishing with Firemen from Central Arizona Fire and Medical. Prescott Valley Police Department, Arizona Game and Fish, and Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office.  Arizona Game and Fish is waiving the fishing license for the morning event and stocking the lake for this fishing adventure. If you don’t have a fishing pole, poles and bait will be provided. 

Prescott Job Fair, April 3rd

Yavapai College and Regional Economic Development Center are hosting the Prescott Job Fair at Yavapai College – Prescott Campus. On Wednesday, April 3rd from 3:30 pm-6:00 pm. Attendees can learn the latest information about careers; apply for part-time, full-time, temporary, and seasonal jobs: and meet the representatives from local businesses. To see a full list of employers in attendance visit YCREDC.COM/Events 

Get Tickets to the Blue Moon Saloon at the World’s Oldest Rodeo

Ticket reservations for the round-up at the Blue Moon Saloon, the deck just above the main rodeo contestant arena entryway, will be available Friday, March 22, 2024. PFD honors previous Customers first, so if you were a customer last year, you’ll have an opportunity to reserve your tickets one week earlier than everyone else. Reserve your spot by emailing Cherye@World’sOldestRodeo.com 

Bradshaw Mountain Theatrical Troupe Presents “Almost, Maine”

On April 4th through 6 at 7 pm located at Prescott Valley’s Glassford Hill Middle School auditorium. The Show follows a beautiful display of love in its various stages under the gorgeous northern lights. Taking place in the farthest northern “town” in Maine called “almost”. Tickets are sold at the door with cash or card for $15.

Richard Crider Named Prescott Regional Airport Director 

The City of Prescott has named Richard Crider Airport Director, overseeing the operations of Prescott Regional Airport. Mr. Crider comes to Prescott from San Antonio, TX, where he served as Executive Vice President for Airport/Railport & Military Relations at Port San Antonio, he was the executive agent for Kelly Field and Has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from the University of Central Texas and a Master of Arts degree in Public Policy & Management from The Ohio State University. Rick is an Accredited Airport Executive and First Vice Chair of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).

YavaLine Regional Transit Expands Service to Prescott 

The YavLine Regional Transit System (YAV) Has added a new service area to include a portion of the City of Prescott, providing a new public transportation option for residents. The new Prescott service area includes downtown Prescott, Dignity Health YRMC hospitals and medical offices, places of higher education, the Northern Arizona VA, and several shopping centers. Boundaries are roughly Iron Springs Road to the west, SR 69/SR89 interchange to the east, Gail Gardner Way to the north, and Copper Basin Road to the south

Yavapai Community Spring Health Fair 

Saturday, March 30th from 10 am-2 pm at Yavapai College in Prescott. This fair serves as a comprehensive guide to preventive care, contributing to a healthier community. Food boxes by Manzanita Outreach, Mammograms, Mobile clinics with essential services, primary care support, and Dozens of local organizations. 2024 Easter Eggstravaganza at In The Game

Saturday, March 30th from 11-3 pm at K9 Synergy in Prescott (6741 Corsair Ave Suite A. An Easter Egg hunt designed just for your four-legged companions, with treats and training coupons available.
