Heritage Park Zoo Wildlights and Animal Sights

The holiday light display will be open to the public every Friday & Saturday evening from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm, beginning on November 24th and 25th and running through December 30th of 2023. Special Event admission fee is $12.00. Tickets can be purchased in the Gift Shop in advance or given as gifts to friends and family. Also please join us Sunday, December 10th, 2023 for “Santa with the Animals.” Santa will be bringing presents to the animal residents here at the Sanctuary from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm! 

CAFMA Rescues Cat Stranded in Tree

Firefighters from Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority’s (CAFMA) Engine 51 successfully rescued a gray cat that had been stranded in a tree for a number of days. Providing food and water may motivate the cat to come down; however, be sure not to attract any unwanted guests by leaving it unattended.  CAFMA also encourages community members to contact a cat rescue or tree trimming service before contacting the fire department, as firefighters may be on emergency calls and unable to respond immediately. 

2023 Prescott Valley Winter Spectacular 

Saturday, December 2nd, 2:00 pm-8:00 pm, Prescott Valley Civic Center. This event will feature ice skating, bounce houses, face painting, and more! Take free pictures with Santa, and check out the live performances. Then enjoy a warm treat from local food trucks and get bundled up to watch a light parade with grand tree lighting!

41st Annual Prescott Chamber Christmas Parade – Toys “Trains and Candy Canes”

Saturday, December 2nd, 1:00 pm-3:45 pm. At the Prescott Courthouse Plaza. This year’s Theme is “Toys, Trains, and Candy Canes” This is one fun annual event that is sure to put you in the holiday spirit. 

69th Annual Courthouse Lighting and Fireworks

Saturday December 2nd. 5:00 pm-8:30 pm. The ceremony will be at 6:00 pm followed by the Courthouse Lighting. There will be live music, carols, and a reading of the Christmas story and the lighting will be followed by fireworks!

Frontier Christmas

Saturday Dec 2nd, 6:00 pm-8:30 pm, at the Sharlot Hall Museum. Luminarias line the Museum walkways as visitors meander from building to building, visiting with Living History interpreters, meeting Father Christmas, or trying their hand at Victorian-inspired crafts.

Valley Of the Lights

Now open every night between 6:00 pm-9:00 pm, at Fain Park in Prescott Valley.
