Yavapai College Offering Tuition-Free Certifications 

The Regional Economic Development Center (REDC) at Yavapai College is offering a wide range of certificates and support programs through its QUEST grant, tuition-free. The REDC has secured funding to support qualified learners for needs related to travel, technology, childcare, tuition assistance, stipends for internships, and removing other barriers for dislocated workers. Chalk the Solstice! Sidewalk Chalk Contest

Tuesday, June 18th, Wednesday, June 19th from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm, and Thursday, June 20th from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm at the Prescott Valley Town Center. You will be provided with a 5×5 cement canvas and a box of chalk. Registration takes place when you get to the Prescott Valley Town Center to pick up your chalk. Judging starts at 5 pm and winners will be announced at 6 pm on the main stage. 

Summer Solstice Music Festival 

On Thursday, June 20th from 1:00 pm-10:00 pm at the Prescott Valley Town Center. All-day Music festival featuring 2 stages and 11 local bands. This is a part of the FREE Summer Concert Series presented by the Fain Family Foundation and will feature a Beer and wine garden in the Turf Park. For more information visit 

Sesame Street Live with Special Stop in Prescott Valley

Whiskey Row Brew Fest

Saturday, June 15th from 3:00 pm-7:00 pm at Mile High Field in Prescott. Prescott’s Biggest Annual Brew Fest featuring over 20 brew Vendors. Admission is $50 at the gate and includes 10 drink sample Tickets. A portion of the proceeds benefit Friends of Prescott Scouting. For tickets visit their 

Yavapai CASA for Kids – 9th Annual Gala Benefit for Foster Youth 

Saturday, June 15th from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm at Windmill House in Chino Valley . Champions for Children A Mid Summer Nights Dream featuring Live music, Masquerade Contest, Silent Auction and Raffle, a Fairy Toss Tournament, and Award Ceremony. All Proceeds will benefit programs aimed at enriching the lives of over 300 foster youth in Yavapai County.
