New Year’s Closures for Prescott Valley, Prescott, and Chino Valley

Prescott Valley Civic Center, Library, and Solid Waste Collection will not be picked up on Monday, January 1st. Monday and Tuesday will be a day late in the collection. The City of Prescott and Prescott Library will be closed on Monday. Chino Valley is closed on Sunday and Monday. The Chino Valley Senior Center is closed from Friday to Tuesday. 

Desert Financial Credit Union Contributes $300,000 to Arizona Nonprofits

This is the credit union’s largest grant to date. Increase of more than 25% compared to 2022. Organizations receiving grants include Boys and Girls Club, Launch Pad, and Yavapai Brothers and Sisters. Desert Financial has provided more than $1.5 Million to Arizona nonprofits through grants in the past decades.

City of Prescott Christmas Tree Collection

The City of Prescott’s collection trucks will pass through each neighborhood once. Please have trees curbside by 6 am on your normal collection day. No Plastic trees will be picked up during the collection. 

Whiskey Row Bootdrop

Sunday, Dec 30th on Whiskey Row in downtown Prescott. Two boot drops at 10:00 pm and one at midnight. The Festive 6 ft illuminated cowboy boot lowers down from a 40-foot flagpole for the top of the historic Palace building. This is the lucky 13th year of the event.

New Year’s Eve at the Elks Performing Arts Center

Sunday, Dec 31 at 7:30 pm at the Elks Performing Art Center in Prescott. NYE Party for adults only hosted DD Alexander with special guests Coco St. James and Benaddiction.

Valley Of Lights 

Every Night From 6 pm-10 pm at Fain Park in Prescott Valley. The Last Day is Saturday, Dec 30th. 

Heritage Park Zoo Wildlight and Animal Sights 

The park will be filled with festive holiday decorations, music, and spectacular light displays. There will be light concessions available. Friday and Saturday from 6 to 9 pm. This is the last weekend
