With high lake levels, and impending storms, the City of Prescott will perform a controlled release of water from both Willow Creek Dam (Willow Lake) and Granite Creek Dam (Watson Lake). This release will continue until after the approaching storm events have subsided to keep the lakes at safe levels. Please be aware that strong currents will exist near the dam and spillways at each lake. Also, Granite Creek, Willow Creek, and other local tributaries will be flowing at higher than normal levels.
