Rock ‘N Horror Fest is bringing a different kind of Halloween celebration to Prescott. The 18-and-up event combines classic horror movies, live music, costumes, vendors, and more. This year, the festival takes place on October 3 at the Grace Sparkes Activity Center, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and entertainment beginning at 7 p.m
To start the night, guests can enjoy a screening of the classic black-and-white horror film “Horror of Party Beach.” Afterward, the event shifts into a live concert. Rockabilly band Downhill Fast and retro garage surf group The Bad Janets will take the stage. Together, the music and movie create a throwback horror experience with plenty of energy.
In addition, Rock ‘N Horror Fest is adding even more entertainment this year. Guests can enter a costume contest or compete in the first Miss Rockin Horror Fest pinup pageant. Cash prizes and other prizes will be available. Vendors, raffles, and horror-themed attractions will also help keep the evening moving from one activity to the next.
Most importantly, the event gives adults another way to celebrate Halloween in Prescott. Organizers created the festival as a fun night out with a party atmosphere and nonstop entertainment. Advance tickets are $10, while tickets at the door are $15. The ticket includes the movie, live bands, and the evening’s other entertainment.
