Dignity Health YRMC Opening New Lab Draw Station in Chino Valley 

Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the grand opening of its new lab draw station in Chino Valley, Arizona. Located at 488 N Hwy 89, Suite I, in the Ranch Plaza, just down from Overflow Coffee, the new facility provides convenient access to essential lab services for the community.

CWAG: Population Growth Versus Water

Concerned about growth? What about all the new houses? We (the Citizens Water Advocacy Group, or CWAG) are often asked about growth and its impact on water. Growth and water consumption are connected because every new home consumes groundwater. Yet, CWAG is not a “no growth” group. We count gallons, not heads.

Rocki’n River Ranch State Park First to open since 2016

For the first time since 2016, Arizona has a new state park. Rockin’ River Ranch, located in Camp Verde, opened on February 9, 2024, with outdoor recreation options like picnicking, hiking, and wildlife watching. The park will operate Fridays-Sundays.

The Cougar Country Spring 2024 issue is now Available 

Chino Valley’s Spring 2024 issue of Cougar Country is now online with printed copies arriving to locations around Chino Valley!

Everything for sale at the market has been grown, raised, or made by hand by the person selling it.

Woman Artist of the West – 54th National Exhibition 

Friday, March 1st starting at 5:00 pm at the Phippen Museum in Prescott. Women Artists of the West’s National show “Dreamweavers” will feature 130 original paintings and sculptures in the Phippen’s Marley Gallery from March 1, 2024, through June 23, 2024.
