100 Men Who Care of Yavapai County to Support “Shop with a Cop Fundraiser” 

This Thursday doors open at 5 pm at Espire Sports in Pine Ridge Marketplace in Prescott. Cougar Country Summer 2024 Issue is Now Available 

Chino Valley’s Summer 2024 issue of Cougar Country is now online with printed copies arriving around Chino Valley soon! Five thousand copies of the magazine have been mailed directly to homes in Chino Valley with additional copies available around town.

Phase II of Legado Demolition Begins 

Signal Restoration and AZ Demolition are on site to complete the final phase of demolishing the Legado Apartments. Initially, they will clear and separate debris from the parking structure, with the demolition and clean-up likely starting next week. The demo will continue through mid-August, with crews working Monday through Friday. Florentine Eastbound remains closed for safety, as directed by the Fire Marshall. Yavapai College Offering Tuition-Free Certifications

The Regional Economic Development Center (REDC) at Yavapai College is offering a wide range of certificates and support programs through its QUEST grant, tuition-free. The REDC has secured funding to support qualified learners for needs related to travel, technology, childcare, tuition assistance, stipends for internships, and removing other barriers for dislocated workers.
