Solar Eclipse Crosses North America on April 8, 2024 

On Monday, April 8th a total solar eclipse will cross North America passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. Arizona the eclipse will be about 60 percent coverage with peak viewing to be just after 11:20 am. Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting a viewing event at the PV Civic Center Theatre in the green from 10 am to 12:30 pm

Free Events in Prescott Valley from the Fain Family Foundation

This year a full calendar of FREE community events for all ages will take place in the Prescott Valley Town Center. You can view the full calendar at FainSignaturegroup.com/events. The next event coming up is an Earth Day Celebration on April 22nd  followed by a Kentucky Derby watch party. 

Eclipse/Space STEAM Workshop 

Chino Valley Library will have an interactive eclipse, space, and STEAM activities to explore the Friday before the eclipse. And Pick up your complimentary viewing glasses. Located at 1020 W. Palomino Rd in Chino Valley from 3 to 430 pm on Friday, April 5th. 

Firefighter Angel Pancake Breakfast

Sunday, April 7th from 8 am-12 pm at various local fire Stations. $5 donation includes pancake breakfast, fire station tours, bounce houses, and visiting with our first responders. There will be t-shirts, a 50/50 raffle, auction items, and more kids’ activities. For more information visit FireFighterAngel.ORG  The fire stations include: 9601 E Valley Rd in Prescott Valley, 333 White Spar Rd in Prescott, and 1133 W. Road 3 North in Chino Valley
