Vendor Market & Plant Sale Highlights
Parents can savor the autumn air while shopping the craft vendor fair, enjoying the beer garden – with live music from Andrew Dearing – or sampling the seven food trucks that hold court at the festival.
Yavapai College Programs: Agriculture & Horticulture
The Chino Valley Agibusiness and Science Technology Center offers courses in Agriculture Technology, Production Horticulture, Animal Care, Electrical Line Work, and Construction. The campus is also home to our Commercial Driving program and is an ADOT-authorized testing site.
Career Training: Lineman & CDL Programs
Driving a truck can also earn you a good living. A person with a good driving experience can earn more than $65,000 per year, and an entry-level driver can earn up to $40,000 per year. As you gain more experience, your pay increases. Some truck drivers earn up to $85,000 per year.
Aquaculture, Drones & Hands-On Learning
Yavapai College is the premier place to begin a rewarding career in professional aviation. The Aerospace Science Airplane Operations degree allows you to earn private, instrument, commercial, multi-engine, and flight instructor certificates and ratings. In as few as six semesters, you will have the required certificates and experience to begin a career as a commercial pilot.
New Additions: Learning Series & Master Gardeners
In undergraduate horticulture studies degree programs, you take courses in plant biology, botany, plant diagnostics, propagation, and soils.
